33rd Street Band
Client Feedback

33rd Street Band professionalism, accommodation, and talent was above and beyond our expectations. They were great to work with and really went the extra mile to make sure that everyone was not only satisfied but happy, all while having a great time. I would recommend this band to anyone and will certainly keep them in mind for future gigs. I do not have a single negative thing I can think of if I HAD to~ Thanks!!!

We couldn't have had a more enjoyable, fulfilling experience with the 33rd Street Band. They were on time, professional, courteous, and followed up on every commitment they made. Best of all, they were great entertainers, and our guests loved them! I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Note: This was a special gig as we were hired by Michigan's secretary of state, Terri Lynn Land, to perform for a national conference for secretaries of state from all 50 states.  It was held at Frederik Meijer Gardens.

Hello 33rd Street Band,
Josh and I cannot thank you enough for the incredible job you did last
Saturday. We received countless compliments on your performance and
music. You were an absolute pleasure to work with, especially learning
two new songs, which sounded great!
Thank you again for making our wedding an unforgettable night for our guests.

The 33rd Street Band played a pivotal role in making our wedding the best day of our lives. What I was looking forward to most at my reception was tearing up the dance floor to exceptional music, and the 33rd Street Band made that dream come true. Chris was so incredibly professional and accommodating, as was the entire band. It has been a few weeks since my wedding, and we still have wedding guests remarking that they can still hear the band's tunes in their heads. The band's talent is noteworthy, and they really made the music come alive. The band even traveled all of the way from Michigan for our special day, and they made the entire process seamless. I would whole-heartedly recommend 33rd Street Band for any occasion in which you want your guests to have the most fun that they could possibly have. I am trying to throw another big party just so that I can hear their music again!

I hired 33rd Street Band for a surprise 50th birthday party for my wife at the Plymouth Country Club located in Plymouth, Indiana. Chris was a great guy to work with. The bands song list is awesome and the talent of all musicians is incredible. They even took the time to learn my wifes' favorite song, Long Cool Woman In A Black Dress" by the Hollies. Not only was I impressed by the talent of this group, but everyone in attendence was too. I had endless compliments for doing such a great job in hiring this band. Our club president was in attendence and he said we need to have these guys back for our annual Luau Party. I know I will definetely hire this talented group for my next party. I just wish it was sooner than later. I already contacted 33rd Street Band and requested to be put on their mailing list for future gigs thay have scheduled. Thanks again. Don E. 33rd Street Band played at our wedding. They were very easy to work with and so much fun! They were even willing to learn a few songs for our special dances! After the first song we overheard people saying "wow - they are going to be good!" They kept people on the dance floor all night! Lots of comments were that they were personable and interactive with the dancing crowd and some people asked for their information to possibly book them for future events. The energy and enthusiasm the band exhibited throughout our reception really impacted our guests - everyone had a blast! I highly recommend this band if you want to dance and have fun!

What a great band! We hired them for my mom's 50th birthday party, and they were such a hit. They were so entertaining, and even learned a special request song for us. We really enjoyed having them there, they definitely made the party!

Everyone had a great time! The add-on attraction of The Soulmen, a Blues Brothers lookalike pair, made the party even more fun. Book these guys for a fun time, music was all standards/popular, well known stuff. The band should consider listing themselves on Gigmasters as a package deal with the Soulmen...

33rd Street Band was by far the best live band of its type that I have heard. The songs sounded amazing and it was by far the thing that people talked about the most. Even our younger siblings who had never heard some of these songs were ranting and raving about the band. They were very accommodating and made sure that everything was ready to go, reducing the stress of our wedding substantially. They are also very flexible. If I ever have another event in the area, 33rd Street Band will be the first band I call.

Here's what "Blues News" had to say about 33rd Street Band in one of their 2006 issues:

Kalamazoo Blues Festival July 6-8 2006:
Another horn driven band is the 33rd Street Band. Lead by trombonist Mark Patrie, the 33rd Street Band had a secret weapon for today's show. The Soul Men are a Cleveland based Blues Brothers tribute act who won the crowd with their antics. Backed by the extremely tight band, the Soul Men brought back all the great songs by Jake and Elwood Blues such as Hey Bartender, Minnie the Moocher, Soul Man and of course, Rubber Biscuit. From the black suits to the knuckle tattoos, these guys were great. Leading the crowd in song and dance, the 33rd Street Band and the Soul Men were a fun-filled treat.
